All Aboard Christmas Kit Blog Hop
Hello, and welcome to my stop on the All Aboard Christmas Kit Blog Hop! You should have gotten here through Andrea’s blog, but in case you didn’t, you can find the hop list below.
My project today is this cute box card! My mother-in-law sent us a holiday card last year that was built something like this, and it was so cool. It folds flat to fit in an envelope, and you can write your message on the back “wall” of the card.
Making the scene is pretty straightforward, and there were plenty of pieces in the All Aboard Christmas Kit to make a lovely layout. I chose the deer and trees, a tiny house, repurposed some gold sprigs into bushes, and added a chipboard sticker for the sentiment.
You can add gems or glitter to this card to give it a little more sparkle, but I really liked just the pops of gold foil on the die-cut pieces. It’s such a clean look, don’t you think?
Everything is in the box, but you will need one or two extra sheets of white cardstock, depending on how you cut. I’ll post the how-to for this kind of card later today because that’s a WHOLE other post, haha!
Thank you so much for popping in today to check out my project for the All Aboard Christmas Kit Blog Hop!

Yay, Lori! It’s nice to “meet” you!
Wow, how creative and adorable! I love the dimensional scene and the fact that this card is mailable.
Thank you! I’m excited about it too – I have family in Canada and it’s a challenge to mail fancy cards for a reasonable cost!
I have never done a box card, but with these pieces from the kit, it doesn’t look so intimidating!
Nope, not too hard at all – just a little measuring and scoring. There’s a ton of ephemera in the box, you could easily do floral designs too 🙂
What a sweet card. Like the dimension.
Thank you, Yvette!
Super cute! I love the idea for a quick box card using the kit cut outs. Thanks for sharing!
